WARNING; Use as directed, may be harmful if swallowed, inhaled, or absorbed through skin. When applying this product, use gloves. Avoid contact with eyes, may cause skin, eyes. In case of skin or eye contact, flush with water and consult a physician if needed.
CAREFULLY read all instructions and precautions prior to using the product. To avoid undesired effects and compatibility issues. Please perform an Allergy Patch Test: Apply a small amount to an inconspicuous part of your body, like behind your ear, and then wait 24 hours to see how your skin reacts. Most likely it may itch for 10-20 minutes and stop. If you are still experiencing a severe itching and/or burning sensation, do not use it.
*Before you start: you will need the following: Gloves, Cape or a shirt you dont care for, bowl, brush, shower cap or plastic food wrap, blow dryer, flat iron capable of 450F, large hair clips, fine tooth comb (you need it to spread the product evenly), Easy comb and/or heat resistance comb (optional). Work in a ventilated area and read all related warnings on the product. Please do not assume instructions of other products.
STEP 1- Clarifying Shampoo: Wash the hair with clarifying shampoo twice; this will enable the opening of the cuticles. Rinse well and blow-dry. You may notice that it is hard to comb and that is normal after using clarifying shampoo. Towel-dry.
STEP 2- Tip: You may apply some petroleum Jelly (Vaseline) around your hair borderline (forehead back of neck ears etc) to prevent irritation, if any. Wear gloves and start applying the treatment product from the bottom of the Back section, about 1(one) centimeter from the root, then use a comb to spread the product evenly to the tips of the hair and verify that the hair is evenly saturated. Leave the solution on the hair for 30 minutes. Notes: It is extremely important that the entire hair is completely covered with the solution and that the solution is evenly distributed throughout the hair before proceeding to the next step. Comb through using the comb, a very little bit should push in front of the comb. However, the hair should not be over-saturated. The excess solution should be combed out of the hair and removed.
Salon method (takes longer saves product): Wear gloves use a coloring brush and start applying the treatment product on small group of hair, one at a time, from the bottom of the Back section, from the root down spreading the product evenly to the tips of the hair and make sure it is evenly saturated. Loop the hair around your head in a circular pattern so the hair stays saturated, place plastic wrap or a shower cap over your hair to prevent it from air-drying and wait. Wait 30 MINUTES. Do not heat the hair while waiting.
STEP 3 - Blow dry & Flat iron. Blow-dry the hair 100% (yes while the product is on the hair). You may use a round brush to make it easier for the next step of flat ironing. Straight detangled hair makes it better and easier to work with. Using a flat iron at 420-450°F / 210-232°C (for fine, brittle, and/or blonde/bleached hair use a temp of 400-410F) to straighten the hair in combination with a heat-resistance comb. Starting at the nape, move the iron slowly from the scalp to hairs' ends. Assuring the ends are smooth and straight. Go over the same section several times until there are almost no fumes (it may take 7-12 times depending on the hair type, condition and part of the head it is). Do not overdo since you can burn the hair.
STEP 4 What’s next: What to do, What to expect? Now that you are done flat-ironing the hair, it should be straight and possibly feel dry or a little oily depending on your hair & scalp condition. It is recommended to use a light flat-iron touch (360F) over your hair (once a day) in the first few days as the hair is “getting used to” being straight and getting ready for the change. Avoid strong clips and ponytail bands until you have washed your hair again.
