Which Keratin Treatment is Right For Me?
Naturally we all have different hair, and not all clients want the same results; some want and focus on getting straight hair, some want to get rid of annoying frizzy hair, some have badly damaged their hair with time and looking for ways to repair their hair and some simply want a solution that will give them manageable hair (damaged and curly hair can be time consuming)
Many celebrities like Jennifer Aniston, Nicole Richie, Halle Berry, Lindsay Lohan, Ashley Tisdale, Bridget Marquardt and Claudia Jordan (and probably many more celebs who haven’t yet admitted it and millions of people) be surprised there are also lots of men who did it. These people found a wonderful way of getting what they want from their hair by visiting a salon once in 3 to 6 months and not every week.
When it comes to keratin treatments there are basically two main types:
Keratin Hair Treatment (Brazilian) containing Formaldehyde and/or similar ingredients. Formaldehyde Free Keratin Hair Treatment not containing Formaldehyde and/or similar ingredients
As you may know the Brazilian Keratin Hair Treatment was first discovered in Brazil using formaldehyde. And received some negative headlines because many companies in Brazil were experimenting and focusing on the Formaldehyde as the main ingredient, thinking the more they add the better it gets, they were wrong. The Keratin Hair Treatment was improved significantly by Companies like us focusing on the health, strength and beauty of your hair. Keratin Research has recently added Inverto an ingredient that actually rebuilds damaged hair on contact. That is not the only improvement Keratin Research also added real Moroccan Argan oil, proteins and amino acids to protect and heal your hair during and after the treatment.
Not All Keratin Treatments are the same because they claim to be.
The Formaldehyde Free Keratin Treatment has a complex collection of Amino acids as active ingredients and was developed recently to give hair stylist and clients a product that does not contain formaldehyde for several reasons: Stylist can perform it in their salon without the nuisance of the formaldehyde fume and odor. -Clients are worried about becoming in contact with formaldehyde fumes. -Stylists are worried about becoming in contact with formaldehyde fumes. There is nothing wrong and no risk with good Keratin Hair Treatment containing Formaldehyde When applied correctly. Did you know that some foods contain formaldehyde? Formaldehyde exists in building materials, furniture, fabrics and many other products. An educated consumer knows best what’s good for him/she. Keratin Research’s Treatments are made in the USA in FDA approved facilities.
When it comes to choosing the type of treatment you have to ask yourself :
Is straightening your hair is most important to you?
If Yes, Formaldehyde free is not very effective on very curly hair or ethnic African Hair. However it may good for hair that has been thorough some treatment like relaxing or any straightening treatment. To straighten curly hair you will need to use the Brazilian Keratin Hair Treatment. Remember every one is unique and results are not guaranteed.
If No, than any treatment will eliminate frizz, reduce volume and help repair damaged hair , therefore read the table of pros and cons and base your decision on the additional information.
